Mimosas are fun for brunch or a get-together with friends but as fall is coming, it’s time to get festive with your cocktails. This easy recipe for an apple cider mimosa is a spin on the classic cocktail with hints of sweetness and a touch of spice.
Materials:
Flute Champagne Glass (with or without flute handle)
Shallow Small Plate (for sugar rim)
Ingredients:
Caramel Dipping Sauce (for rim)
¼ cup Apple Cider
¼ tsp. Cinnamon Extract
2 tbsp. Orange Juice
½ cup Champagne
Garnishes:
Cinnamon Stick (Clove)
Apple Slice (thinly sliced)
Instructions:
1.Pour the nutmeg on a small, shallow plate to prep for coating the rim of the glass.
2.Dip the rim gently into the caramel sauce, then dip onto the small plate of nutmeg (more flavor) or sprinkle (less flavor) your desired amount.
3.Add the cinnamon extract, apple cider, and orange juice to the glass.
4. Pour champagne until the glass is almost full. Use a straw or swizzle stick to mix.
5. Add a garnish of apple slices and/or cinnamon sticks.
6. Serve and enjoy the holidays responsibly.
